We came together in Montreal last week for an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and collective care at our Resist & Reclaim series. Through knitting and radical patchmaking, we explored how textile practices can carry stories, foster connection, and create space for reflection, expression, and community. 🧵✨

From learning new skills to sharing experiences and perspectives, each stitch and patch became part of a larger conversation about identity, resilience, and belonging.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this gathering so meaningful. A special thank you to Zoonie Nguyen for opening the day with an inspiring speech that set the tone for reflection, connection, and collective action. We are also grateful to .collective and for leading the workshops and sharing their knowledge, creativity, and care with our community.

Finally, thank you to the Canadian Race Relations Foundation for supporting this event and helping bring these conversations to life. 💚
