Writers are creative—but their quirky habits are sometimes even more fascinating than their books! 📚

Maya Angelou wrote in a bare hotel room with only a Bible, dictionary, and sherry.

Honoré de Balzac drank up to 50 cups of coffee a day to stay productive! ☕

James Joyce wore a doctor’s coat while writing and used colored crayons on his manuscripts. 🎨

These rituals show that writing isn’t just intellectual—it’s also physical and psychological.

Which of these habits do you find the quirkiest? Or maybe you relate to one? Share your thoughts below! 👇

"We begin with Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer (1836–1870), born in Seville, Spain. His tender verses, full of longing and melancholy, capture the fleeting beauty of love and the whispers of the heart, inviting readers into a world where emotion and nature intertwine."
From his famous Rima LIII (written ~1862, part of Rimas):

"The dark swallows will return
to hang their nests upon your balcony,
but those that once paused in flight
to gaze upon your beauty and my joy
will never come back."

Some loves are not eternal—they come and go like swallows. What remains is often a delicate memory, fleeting yet unforgettable. 🕊️

tu hermosura y mi dicha a contemplar,
no volverán."

“Forgetting may be the deepest form of forgiveness.” – Jorge Luis Borges

There are wounds that linger—not because we want to hold onto them, but because forgetting feels impossible. Yet, as Borges reminds us, forgetting can free us more than revenge or even forgiveness itself.

– Jorge Luis Borges

Respect must be for everyone — not just for some.

True inclusion means listening to all voices, not just those we agree with.
Respecting diversity is essential — but it should never become imposition.
When it comes to children, our responsibility is even greater: to protect without confusing, to educate without ideologizing.

“Life is not what one lived, but what one remembers and how one remembers it in order to tell it.” – Gabriel García Márquez

Our memories are not exact copies of the past. They are stories shaped by emotion, perception, and meaning.
What we remember — and how we remember it — gives shape to who we are and how we tell our story.
We don’t just recall facts. We bring the past to life through the lens of the soul.

No narramos solo hechos.

Some people say that if you care about justice, if you defend the most vulnerable, or if you speak up against abuse, then you must be “left-wing.”

But I am not a politician.
I am a human being.

My values are rooted in respect, empathy, love, and fairness.
That doesn’t mean I hate success or want people to be poor.
I don’t hate the rich — I hate injustice, abuse of power, corruption, and inequality.

I want a world where:

Everyone has equal access to opportunities

No one is left behind if they are trying to move forward

Success is based on effort, not privilege

We don’t divide people with labels, but value them as individuals

I don’t identify with the left or the right.
I identify with dignity, truth, and compassion.

If that makes some people uncomfortable, I accept it.
But kindness is not weakness.
And respect is not political — it’s human.

-------------------------
