We had a brilliant time playing a pretty much sold out show at Vancouver International Film Festival last night!! The film A Hard Day's Night was sooo good too. We appreciate being able to bring our show to such a cool venue. Make sure you check out their ongoing Live Series!

We are on hiatus for the Christmas break now but please stay tuned to our page for 2026 shows. Merry Christmas everyone!

Thank you to Steve Edge of Rogue Folk Club for shouting out our Sunday VIFF show on his Saturday Edge on Folk on CITR! Steve has a great show lined up with lots of new music and of course some Beatles. See his description below and check out his show tomorrow from 8 AM to Noon. ❤️

On this week's edition of The Saturday Edge On Folk (8am to noon on www citr ca and 101.9fm in Vancouver) I will spin new music by the likes of J.P. Cormier, Maria Dunn, The Henry Girls, Rum Ragged, Alex Cuba, Mavis Staples, and many more. I will also commemorate the terrible massacre at Montreal's Ecole Polytechnique on December 6th 1989, and will add some Ukrainian music from the remrakble DakhaBrakha (playing The Pearl on December 11th). Plus some John Prine (VIFF Cinema are showing a great film about him this coming Sunday (Sold Out) and next Tuesday afternoon. Also on Sunday evening, VIFF are showing The Beatles's 1964 film A Hard Day's Night, preceded by a set from Get Back Unplugged, the Vancouver "supergroup" who started their unqiue reimaginings of late Beatles classics at The Rogue a few years ago, and have since taken the show all across BC. I will play a couple of songs from both bands! I hope you will join me, this and every Saturday.

We also loved the room, the Upstairs Lounge at the Oak Bay Rec Centre. Thanks for the star treatment! The acoustics were great and we had a full and fun crowd! Hope to get back to Victoria very soon.
