Strathcona Interact Club presents movie night! We will be playing Shang-Chi legend of the 10 rings at Strathcona Community Centre from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, June 16th! Please like and share and bring your friends! See you there!

Strathcona Interact Club presents Movie Night (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 rings) on May 16th from 6:30PM - 8:30PM at Strathcona Community Centre! Admission will be FREE for ages 13-18, Please bring your friends!

We would like to thank Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC - ANHBC for providing us with the ability to wrap our presents for the kids as adding a little touch to it adds the holiday spirit as well as other necessary supplies in the success of this toy drive event! 🌟🎁🎄

We would like to appreciate which provided a home for the Strathcona Interact Club during the year but for this event in allowing us to store the toys, space to wrap and much more. They have endlessly supported this youth-led initiative! 💜💓✨

The Rotary Club of Vancouver Sunrise not only sponsors us in other aspects besides the toy drive event. For this toy drive event, we had just asked in support of this event and they were able to rise up and contribute without hesitation. We are extremely amazed by the tremendous love they give to the Strathcona Interact Club. 🙃💛💙

We would like to thank who provided us with the opportunities in connecting with our major partner for this event. As well as the number of volunteers that we're able to come and help us with wrapping and delivering the presents to the locations. We are grateful for the endless support that you have given us so far!!❤️🙋🏻‍♀️

By donating over 250 toys to our toy drive, it has made significant contributions to the impact on youth in DTES. Without this, our event wouldn't have been as successful and we are grateful for their tremendous support!!

We are almost at the end of our journey.... 🚐 after wrapping the presents we dropped off them at different locations in the DTES. First off was Strathcona Community Centre for their CAPC program and Daycamp. Then it was off to Raycam community centre for their CAPC program. Last but not least, Britannia Community Centre for their CAPC program. A bus full of presents and toys in dropping them off in time for Christmas!!

With the combined volunteers of the interact club and we carefully selected presents by matching in their age category as well as individually wrapped all of them with their names on it just to add a little special touch of love to it when they receive their present. Thank you for the time and dedication from all of our volunteers this event!! 🙋🏻‍🦸🏻🌟

We started off our toy drive event receiving a lot of donations from our partner, Alexander Holburn law firm of over 250+ toys with volunteers helping with carrying it and sorting it out onto tables that stretched all the way to two tables.
