๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ“š Summer Reading Dragons Challenge! ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ‰

Starting June 15, children ages 6-12 can pick up a tracker at the library to participate in the Summer Reading Dragons program.

For every 3 hours of reading, children will earn a Mystery Pack containing 6 cards from the 2025/2026 Reading Dragons program. Packs can be a combination of cards from different families and their stages.

โœจ Collect all 7 coloured Mystery Packs and unlock up to 3 Bonus Mystery Packs!
โœจ Bonus packs include a chance to collect Special Cards that were previously only available at game nights.
โœจ Limited packs available!
โœจ Read, collect, and build your dragon card collection all summer long!

๐Ÿ“… Mystery Packs will be available until September 15, so there's plenty of time to collect!
โŒ Unfortunately, this is not a camp but an at-home (or on-the-go) program

Looking for a summer program that helps kids build confidence, resilience, and positive life skills?

The Minds Matter Summer Program is designed to help children and youth develop emotional wellness, self-awareness, healthy coping strategies, and social connections through engaging activities and discussions. In partnership with Recovery Alberta and the Foothills School Division

Participants will explore topics such as:

This is a great opportunity for young people to learn valuable skills, make new friends, and have fun in a supportive environment.

This month's drumming circle facilitator is Judy Lawton! A long-time attending member of our drumming circle and trained drumming circle facilitator.
Drums provided, all ages welcome, entry by donation.

Weekdays from June 10-19, from 11:00-4:00, we have a room set aside for studying. Free coffee, tea, and a variety of snacks provided. We accept: gently used books, DVDs/Blu-rays, and puzzles

We DO NOT accept: magazines, encyclopedias, condensed reader's digests, manuals, textbooks, excessively damaged/dirty items, or cookbooks older than 5 years.

Please bring donations to the desk in the library during our open hours.
During the sale, books are available by donation.
