Well, it’s been just about a week and a half since we released “Addicted To Sadness”.
What a journey it’s been. Filled with false starts over our 16 years of “inactivity” we couldn’t be more stoked to have it out in the world and to hear and read all the positive feedback we’ve received about this record. Certainly not a sad affair, at all.
Our release show in Halifax was full of emotion, thank you for such a joyous night, we are honoured to have celebrated with you and shared such a special night with old friends and a ton of new ones. And . .o.n.n.o.r.b.o.o.t.h , who hopped on the trap set while Loel tended vocals on ‘Half Of It’.
We need to thank our friends Ryan MacDonald and Brian Borcherdt for filling out our band for these past couple of shows. Ryan filled in all the bells and whistles and his energy on stage is truly remarkable. Such an honour to have such a remarkable songwriter along for the ride with us. And our beloved Dependent grandpa Brian, thank you for stepping up and filling in some big shoes for these shows. Y’all killed it!
