A hello from the girls

Meet our flock!! 🪽🪶🐥

First of all is our famous Stuffin’!!!! She’s 3yrs old this year and absolutely lovin life, she loves pats and hellos. She knows she’s a good girl 🦃

Then we have Michele! She’s around 8yrs old and going strong! When we think she’s going downhill she perks right back up like nothing happened. She’s one tough ole lady! 🐦‍⬛

Then we have our rooster Beni! (Eggs Benedict). He is a gentlemen of a rooster! Treats his ladies very nicely and tells them when he finds food for them. What a wonderful man! 👨

Then we have Layla! Layla is a sweet girl and will tolerate you picking her up and give her a little snuggle. She’s very curious of humans but still not convinced that she loves us. We’ve had her since a day old chick!

We also have Daffy (Daffodil) her sister! We’ve raised these too since chicks! Daffy is a dedicated layer and loves outdoors! She will go out in anything and is not phased whatsoever. She likes to explore but is a scaredy cat and runs away very fast.

Apparently Dixie didn’t want her picture taken. Dixie is very pretty, she has silver laced down her chest and a big bright red comb! Making her a very pretty hen. One cool thing about her is she will let you video her laying an egg, educating I guess???

Then I call these two the hellion hens! Heather and (hell)en. They are the mean girls. They rule the roost. They are very good layers though. But you can see in their red scary eyes they are out for you🤣

Pleasant Valley Equestrian Center

I wasn’t going to post this because I didn’t want to deal with the TikTok trainers and the Facebook keyboard warriors but here we go!!

River had her first “sit” on her back AND first 5 minute ride! I am so proud of this horse. River can act so silly and have fun with bucking. But I continued to work her through that and look! I have a calm, controlled and amazing filly. She never offered anything dirty! She looked to me for when she didn’t understand or when she was unsure!!
