When Rolfing® Supports Scoliosis
• Whole-Body View
Scoliosis doesn’t just affect bones. Rolfing® supports the entire body, considering how all structures have adjusted to support the curve.
• Fascia & Tension Patterns
Tension and imbalance tend to become trapped in connective tissue and muscles. Rolfing® supports releasing these tension patterns to alleviate discomfort.
• Better Alignment & Balance
Rather than correcting “as best as can be supported”, Rolfing® sessions facilitate improved structural organization allowing efficient movement and self-support.
• Mobility Where Needed
Rolfing® work will typically target the spine, ribcage, hips, and shoulders , known to be restricted with scoliosis.
• Moving That Lasts
Rolfing® Movement education supports awareness and movement strategies to promote easier movement in daily life.
Supporting function, comfort, and confidence , not “straightening” the body.
One of the questions I hear most is, “What’s best after the Rolfing 10-Series?”
Here, I talk about how BodyFlow and Moving Into Alignment help you maintain and integrate your Rolfing work through ongoing movement and awareness. 🌿
Wishing you health and happiness in 2026.
In January, I’ll be sharing a series of educational videos focused on movement and body awareness.
What better way to celebrate the season than with Gratitude 🎄✨ Thank you, Dr. Ida Rolf! 🙏🌟

When the fascial layers in your neck lose glide, everything feels tight and limited. A forward head position makes your muscles work harder than they’re designed to. Rolfing gently frees the fascia, improves alignment, and restores natural mobility. When your head is back on top of your spine, your whole system feels lighter and more supported. Rolfing works with your fascia to improve mobility and comfort. Book a session and begin relieving your neck pain.

Rolfing helps people’s feet feel alive, healthy and springy!
Feet have the important job of stabilizing us as well as moving us around in space. Rolfers find it rewarding to help people have the healthiest feet possible!
I personally enjoy working on people’s feet then seeing them in walking, truly feel more connected to the ground and moving gracefully 👣
Working on the feet also helps with proper movement and sensing your relationship to the ground. This is important for your structure above.
When we feel supported from below, we can let go of tensions above and move with ease. 😀🫶🏻💃

It’s been more than two weeks since the announcement but I’m still as excited as the first day of Sue joining me. Rolfing has grown to being a household word and now more people are benefiting from overcoming old injuries and feeling better in their bodies through Sue’s sessions.
I couldn’t be happier to share the underlying wisdom of the Rolfing 10 Series with more people by having Sue at Rolfing Studio Toronto. As Rolfers we help people with the structure of their bodies always guided by adaptability, support, alignment and curiosity.
I’m so grateful to serve more people on their path to wellness. 💜
