SOLD - 70 Newmarket Ave.

The real estate market in Toronto is spotty right now. Not every listing is a slam dunk. Days on market are up, prices have slipped and inventory levels continue to climb. Still, when I listed this charming 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom detached home last week we received an offer on the first day. Here’s how we did it.

To stand out from the pack, I knew the home had to look its best and show to perfection so we did a home inspection with sufficient time to address any minor kinks. My incredible stager got in early to assess the home and gave marching orders to my sellers and I to realize the vision. I coordinated the trades (painters, landscaper, inspector, power washer, window cleaner, carpet cleaner, cleaning crew, handyman, movers, photographer, floor plans) and laid it out on a calendar to make this as organized and as seamless as possible for my sellers. They also put in significant sweat equity with purging (gold medals!!). Finally, nothing compares to realtime boots-on-the-ground knowledge so I collaborated with my colleagues to help me come up with a pricing strategy and we wound up selling at the very top end of our assessed value.
