Say goodbye to the cold winter and hello to warm weather!

BSSE would like to wish a warm congratulations on all our soon-to-be graduates! This year has been challenging with unprecedented circumstances, and you’ve achieved so much through your perseverance and dedication to your education!

To students that may not be graduating yet: congratulations, you’ve made it through another year! We know it has not been easy balancing daily life, school, and global events - but you’ve done it!

Don’t forget that BSSE is here for you every step of the way to maximize your college experience! If you’re returning to campus, BSSE is open during summer, so stay tuned for continued support, resources and programming! We cannot wait to see some of you back this summer!

Your voice matters! Take advantage of this opportunity to shape the kind of support you wish to see from Humber's BSSE Program.

Humber’s Black Student Support and Engagement (BSSE) Program - formerly known as The BASE, is partnering with Logical outcomes to determine the effectiveness of current/previous programming. The information they gather will help us determine how to move forward as an equity hub and best practices for supporting Black Identifying students at Humber & Guelph-Humber.
 
Logical Outcomes is a non-profit consultant agency that works to help organizations assess and improve their effectiveness. Logical Outcomes will be focused on gathering insights related to Humber’s BSSE, through focus group sessions. See dates, times, and *groups below:  
Tuesday, April 25th | 12-1 pm – students connected to BASE/BSSE  
Friday, April 29th | 12-1 pm – BSSE student staff  
Tuesday, May 3rd | 12 -1 pm – any Black-identifying Humber student  

*Please note register only for the date associated with the group you identify with.

Students will get a $25 gift card for their participation.
