Empowering women through skill building assistance

A gateway to women economic empowerment

SAWERA launched the social support services centers with the multiple benefits for those women of domestic violence and abuse, widows women and women headed their households, these centers are playing an important role by providing multiple benefits i-e cash assistance, skills enhancement, adult literacy and learning opportunities as well as information and communication technologies skills. SAWERA also committed to provide financial assistance to the beneficiary’s women and girls and equip them with skill and knowledge to initiate small scale business. Following immediate benefits/results will be achieved;

Women entrepreneurs/small scale business owners have the ability to create a women-friendly corporate culture to encourage more underprivileged women to give them skill enhancement opportunities and involve them in income generating benefits.

Evidence shows that increasing the share of household income controlled by women, either through their own earnings or cash transfers, changes spending in ways that benefit children and overcoming gender based violence and injustice.

Involvement of women an income generating opportunities providing safe spaces for women in the society, encouraging leadership skills of women and involvement in the decision making at household as well as at community level;

Amazing opportunity

Salaam friends, together with the Society for Appraisal & Women Empowerment in Rural Areas (SAWERA), Women's Excellence Month will continue TOMORROW (Saturday August 27th) and the topic will be 'Women's Innovation and Entrepreneurship'.

Our Guest of Honor is renowned Peshawar businesswoman Ms. Kiran Shah, CEO of Stylish Steps. Ms Shah is also a prominent fashion designer and women's rights activist. She is a woman who has achieved great success, so we are looking forward to her informative and inspirational session.

The session is FREE and all local ladies are welcome to attend! Morning tea will be provided 😃 It will run between 10am and 12pm at the School (please arrive by 9:45am).
