Showcasing award-winning Canadian science, Presented by the Royal Canadian Institute (RCI) and NSERC Polanyi Prize winner.

The Foundation Lectures began as a commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Canadian Institute, Canada's oldest scientific institution. These lectures feature the winner of the National Sciences & Engineering Research Council's Gerhard Herzberg Canada Gold Medal Winner, and recently added the John C. The lectures are hosted by various partners across Canada. In Toronto, we work with Ryerson University.
