UnMatched’s festival run has officially come to an end, and I gotta say, I’m pretty proud of how it turned out!

It was originally just supposed to augment mine and ‘s reels — a comedy that proved we both had the range to make things beyond dramas.

Over the last year, it screened at 13 festivals, and was nominated for 18 awards, winning four for Best Canadian Film, Best Comedy, Best Actor and Best Comedy Screenplay!

I got to attend the inaugural event for the Toronto Global Film Festival this past weekend!

UnMatched was nominated for three awards — Best Canadian Short, Best Director, and Best Actor — and ended up winning Best Actor!

It was also UnMatched’s festival run finale — while it wasn’t my original plan, it means a lot to me that I got to watch both its premiere and finale at festivals right here in Toronto!

Proud to announce my latest script, 10-11 In Progress, won the award for Best Story/Plot this past weekend at the 2025 International Celebration of Cinema — its fourth award this year!

Had an amazing time at the first-ever Brampton Canada International Film Festival this past weekend!

Excited to share that UnMatched won the award for Best Comedy!
