Clear communication is an essential skill in every workplace. From writing emails to sharing instructions with coworkers, strong writing skills help employees stay organized, avoid misunderstandings, and work more effectively as a team.
One simple way to build workplace writing skills is through small, practical tasks. Practicing short emails, writing quick summaries of information, or creating step-by-step instructions can help learners gain confidence and improve clarity over time.
These everyday writing activities help develop the skills needed for job applications, workplace communication, and professional growth.
At EYLE, we support adult learners in building the writing skills that help them succeed at work and in everyday life.

Reading Tip of the Week: Use Context Clues
Stuck on a new word? Don’t stop reading — try using context clues!
Context clues are the words and sentences around a new word that help you guess its meaning.
Here’s how to try it:
✔️ Read the full sentence again
✔️ Look at the words before and after
✔️ Ask yourself: What would make sense here?
✔️ Keep reading to see if your guess fits
You don’t need to know every word to understand a text. Using context clues is a powerful way to build vocabulary and confidence.
Every new word learned is progress! 🌟
