Pride Toronto presents: An Intimate Evening with Tafari Anthony & Fox Revett! Get your tickets now at pridetoronto.com/to-live/

Tafari Anthony and Fox Revett are two of the brightest stars of the Canadian music scene. As the trajectory of these two unique 2SLGBTQI+ artists skyrockets, we present them in an intimate setting to share new music, as well as stories and confessions into the life of a modern unapologetically q***r popstar. Tafari will be introducing music from his upcoming second album, while Fox Revett will be performing selections from their debut album “I Don’t Know Where I Left My Body.”

Tafari Anthony is a JUNO-nominated Pop singer-songwriter, producer, and performer based in Toronto. Known for his soaring vocals, dynamic emotional range, and genre-blurring sound, Tafari creates music that puts q***r love, identity and emotional honesty at the forefront. Tafari’s music has been featured in PAPER Magazine, Billboard, and on CBC’s list of 100 Essential Songs.

Fox Revett is a force of nature. A non-binary Hercules, their megawatt charisma and powerful voice call to mind the rockstars of the ’80s and the pop princesses of the 2000s. Fox’s world is one where Charli XCX and James Taylor are best friends, and Viking warriors fight not on the battlefield but on the runways of Paris and Milan. Their record “I Don’t Know Where I Left My Body” explores themes of gender dysphoria and mental health, cleverly cloaked in familiar song structure and bulletproof melodies. Fox is a current RBCxMusic and MusiCounts artist, interfacing with industry leaders and ushering their presence into the industry.

Happy 2SLGBTQ+ History Month

Our history is a vital part of who we are as a 2SLGBTQ+ community. It reminds us of the people who came before us, the movements and moments that shaped our communities, and the countless people who fought for the rights, visibility and freedoms we have today.
History helps us honour those who came before, learn from the past, celebrate how far we’ve come, and carry these stories forward for future generations. This month, we celebrate the people, stories, struggles, resilience and joy that make up our shared 2SLGBTQ+ history.

Today (Sept 30th) is Truth and Reconciliation Day 🧡 On this National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, we honour the strength of Indigenous communities and recognize the unique experiences of Two-Spirit and LGBTQI+ Indigenous people. Colonialism disrupted traditional gender roles and erased the existence of Two-Spirit identities, making it vital to uplift and empower those who navigate both Indigenous and 2SLGBTQI+ spaces. Pride Toronto is committed to ensuring that their perspectives are heard, respected, and included in our shared journey toward healing and reconciliation.

Pride Toronto recognizes the land we are on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississauga’s of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg Nation, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and is now home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississauga’s of the Credit. True reconciliation must embrace their resilience and restore cultural practices erased by colonial oppression.
