FRIDAY PRAYERS-NEW SCHEDULE: - We will have 3 FRIDAY prayers at 20 Overlea Building from Friday August 14th, 2020. First @ 1:45, Second @ 2:40, and Third @ 3:30. (NO FRIDAY PAYERS AT 4 Thorncliffe) Make Wudhu at home. No wudhu and washroom facility available. Bring your own prayer mat and face mask. Must wear face mask at all times while in the Masjid Property. (Entry will be denied without face mask). NO registrations required. Everyone welcome on first come first serve basis. (Please follow all guidelines posted on IST website, when you come to Masjid) It is of great importance for all of our congregants to follow the IST guidelines and instructions of our volunteers when coming to Masjid, in order that we may continue to keep the house of Allah open. Path to Piety 2019- Ilm Workshops

Day 1

We will be covering the forty Hadith collection of Imam Nawawi R.A. This collection of Hadith has been accepted and appreciated by scholars for over 7 centuries. This collection covers the fundamentals of Islam which will construct the minimum level of required revealed knowledge for every believer. This workshop will be conducted by Sh. Ebrahim I Bham, the Secretary General of the Jamiatul Ulema, South Africa

Day 2

We will be having an interactive workshop on "Addictions and Mental Health" The workshop will essentially be a guide to understanding addictions from an Islamic and psychological perspective. We will be discussing

-the definition of addictions
-theory behind why people become addicted
- what factors put youth at risk of substance misuse
- protective factors, and treatment options

This program will be conducted by Khalil Center Canada

Both workshops are free, and open to brothers and sisters. Not to be missed
