Breakaway Community Services

We will be having a Mindfulness Meditation group starting June 1 until June 22! This group will run every Monday from 1-2:30pm ❤️

No experience required, come as you are and learn new skills to navigate through mindfulness meditation!!

We are closed this Monday, May 18th for the long weekend!

All programming and services will be back on May 19th! 🫶🏽

🩷❤️Strengthening Community and Solidarity day 2026❤️🩷

We had the pleasure of hosting and organizing along with ! We had offerings such as acupuncture, massage, naloxone kit decorating, Diya candle making, multiple art making opportunities, and panel discussion with Zoë Dodd , Matt Johnson and Brianna from !

This day means so much to all those who organized and participated, the trauma and grief of the overdose crisis and constant undermining of harm reduction services takes its toll. This day is about caring for our selves and community, to show our efforts and resilience is stronger than the stigma 🫶🏽

🧶🧶Our Crochet group worked extremely hard over the last few months each making a balaclava to keep our ears, head and neck warm in the winter! This is the final product!! ❤️

We’d like to thanks all those who participated and donated materials to make this happen, great job on the balaclavas!!

Next project, a Breakaway blanket!
