August, you were beautiful ✨ ☀️

From celebrating another trip around the sun in July to traveling to Southern California for time with family and work, August was filled with meaningful moments, great work experiences with clients and customers, and a little time to simply breathe.

August also meant Charlotte being away again this year for a month at sleepaway camp, making memories and gaining a little more independence.

And here we are preparing for another new chapter: the start of high school.

Somewhere between the busy days, beautiful sunsets, quiet moments of reflection, and watching time move far too quickly, I was reminded how important it is to pause and appreciate where life has taken us—and where we’re still going.

I’m so grateful for my work, the adventures, the downtime, the growth, and all the little moments in between acknowledging sometimes time just being present is an adventure itself.

Ending August with a full heart, a reflective mind, and excitement for all that September and this next chapter will bring.

This is 58.

A little wiser.
A little braver.
A little softer.

Fifty-seven asked more of me than I expected.
It challenged me mentally in ways I wasn’t prepared for. There were moments of self-doubt, exhaustion, and questions. There were days I had to choose grace over perfection and faith over fear.

But somehow, in the middle of it all, life kept reminding me how beautiful it can be.

I watched Charlotte thrive at school, graduate Grade 8, and prepare for the next chapter of her journey. I celebrated family milestones, lifelong friendships, and the people who continue to fill my life with love. I had the privilege of creating experiences for our clients that brought communities together, collaborating with incredible organizations, and doing work that still fills my heart with purpose.

I found peace where I always do—in nature, on quiet walks, among the trees, beside the water, and in moments that reminded me to slow down and simply breathe.

This year taught me that strength doesn’t always look like pushing harder. Sometimes it looks like resting. Slower mornings. Saying no. Protecting my peace. Trusting that the next right thing will reveal itself. And beginning and ending each day with faith.

So today, I don’t celebrate another year older .
I celebrate the ever evolving me. I celebrate becoming.

I’m learning that life isn’t measured by how busy we are, but by how fully we show up for the moments that matter.

Every chapter has shaped me, but I don’t have to live in every chapter forever. So, here’s to another trip around the sun—and to embracing every beautiful chapter still waiting to be written.

Sending you all love & light xx 💛 ✨

Real talk.
Lately I’ve been taking time to reflect on this past year. Maybe it’s because my birthday is creeping up on me.

Looking back, I realize this year wasn’t defined by a single milestone - it was shaped by countless moments of growth, unexpected turns, difficult decisions and situations, meaningful connections, and even quiet victories.

When this quote says, reflection is the bridge between resilience and joy, I am pausing to honour my journey. I am discovering that every challenge has shaped my strength. Every lesson has deepened my wisdom, and every daily step has led me closer to the joy that has been waiting in the sidelines for me to acknowledge.

I’ve learned that resilience isn’t about never being challenged; it’s about continuing to move forward with faith, grace and with an open heart. I continue to learn to trust the process, embrace change, and find gratitude not only in the moments that brought joy but also in those moments that brought some hard perspectives.

Reflection has a way of revealing what we’ve missed while moving forward. Yet as I look ahead, I am doing so with deep gratitude for this journey, gaining confidence daily for what’s to come, and a renewed commitment to choosing joy in every step of this journey. That’s not easy but I know that joy is found in perspective, gratitude, faith and courage.

Sending you love and light. 💛 ✨

Graduation - part deux! ❤️

And for the dinner and dance? A quick outfit change was in order, of course!

We were lucky to find two perfect dresses thanks to Fitzroy Rentals—making it easy for Charlotte to choose looks that matched both occasions and her vibrant personality.

From graduation ceremony elegance to dinner-and-dance sparkle, she was able to celebrate each moment in her own unique style.

For the evening, she traded one dress for another, added her favorite sneakers, and brought a whole lot of personality to the party!

As a proud member of the Grad Party Committee, Charlotte helped make the ‘A Night in New York’ themed evening unforgettable—working with her classmates to curate a playlist that kept the dance floor buzzing all night long. . 🎶🪩✨

My heart is so full watching her grow into the kind, confident, and thoughtful young woman.

Here’s to the friendships that feel like family, the memories that will last a lifetime, and all the exciting adventures waiting for her in Upper School.

Congratulations, Charly! Keep shining, keep smiling, and keep being unapologetically you. ❤️🎓✨🧡

And just like that, Charlotte graduates from Grade 8!

This year has been filled with growth, hard work, resilience, and so many moments that have reminded me just how remarkable she is. Being recognized as one of the top six students in her grade and receiving an Academic Pin is an incredible achievement—one that reflects not only her intelligence, but also her dedication, curiosity, and determination.

But what I’m most proud of is the kind, thoughtful, compassionate young woman she is becoming. Watching her navigate challenges, embrace new opportunities, and show up for others has been remarkable to witness.

This chapter also brought so many beautiful friendships that I know will stay with her for years to come. Seeing the bond she has built with her best friend Caroline has been so special. The laughter, adventures, support, and memories they’ve shared have made these middle school years even more meaningful.

As Charlotte prepares to begin Upper School, her dad and I are filled with excitement for everything that lies ahead. New experiences, new opportunities, and new adventures await—and we know she will meet them with the same courage, grace, and determination that have brought her this far.

Charly, you continue to amaze me every single day. I am endlessly proud of you, deeply grateful to be your mama, and so excited to watch you write the next chapter of your story.

Congratulations, my girl. The future is bright, and it belongs to you. 💜
