Trans Workforce

Our Story

Trans Workforce is an organization fiercely geared towards accelerating the upward mobility of people who identify as transgender and those that are gender nonconforming, by offering support through advancements in education and especially employment.

We are the Worlds First Career and Networking Symposium in our category, specifically geared towards people who identify as trans and gender nonconforming. Our sincerest gratitude to our partner and host, The Toronto International Film Festival and for donating the Bell Lightbox building for our event, thank you for opening your doors to a movement that is long overdue.

We create cohesive environments to connect energetic, initiative driven who are looking for opportunities to advance themselves and their communities. We then facilitate and create spaces where these ideas can be connected with aspirational corporations that are innovative, cutting edge and progressive eager to show through actions, that their ethics on diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of their mandate.

We are currently accepting requests from equal opportunity employers who are interested in shattering this glass ceiling to apply to be included in our calendar of annual events.

We are always looking for volunteers who would want to lend their time and be part of this historic initiative. We call our volunteers The A- Team because they are just the best.
