This I facilitated a DMT group for , who had a whole day of caring activities planned for their clients who are survivors of domestic violence. The group was heartbreaking and beautiful, and I feel honoured to have been able to hold space for the incredibly courageous women who attended. It was a touching reminder of the power of communal movement to inspire hope and help us feel supported and connected.
To all of the brave women who continue to move forward despite the pain they’ve suffered - thank you, have courage, and know you’re not alone.

Hello! Nice to meet you! How do you do… connection? Making a connection with someone new can be fun, awkward, vulnerable, warm, exciting, scary, and so much more, and it can offer us an opportunity to see ourselves through a new lens. Who are we, how are we, when we interact with someone we don’t know? And what does this show us about our relational patterns? This is one of the aspects of relationship that we will be exploring in my upcoming workshop, The Dance of Connection, on February 26. Check out the link in bio for more information and to register!
Thanks .glotka for the gorgeous photos and for dancing with me!

How do we navigate the dance of connection? Coming in and out of closeness, being with you, being with me. Approach and retreat, open and close, in and out. How close is too close? And what happens in the space between us? If you’re curious about any of these questions or concepts, come on out to my workshop on February 26, 3-6pm. More details at link in bio!

Happy International Dance Day everyone!
This quote by UK DMP Rosa Shreeves has always resonated deeply with me. “Dance is a unifying act involving the whole self. To dance is in the deepest sense of the word to be more vividly.”
Wishing you moments of dancing, of vivid being, and of unity, today and every day!

I’m excited to be presenting at the DMTAC annual professional exchange event! Come join us for a day of community connection, discussion, and nourishment!
This , I wish you the courage to connect with your dancing body, even, or perhaps especially, if it feels scary or out of reach. I hope you take those tentative first steps towards the freedom that comes from giving your spirit permission to express itself through every cell of your body. I hope you dance with your heart, your grief, your tenderness, your fear, your passion, and your joy. Happy dancing, from my body to yours!
