A hallway deserves just as much attention as any other room.

For this second-floor hallway, the goal was to transform a simple pass-through space into a beautifully styled moment that feels warm, modern and timeless.

A statement console, layered abstract artwork, soft lighting, natural greenery and carefully selected accessories bring character to the space while keeping it clean and sophisticated. The mix of black, warm wood, natural rattan and soft neutral tones creates contrast while still feeling inviting and connected to the rest of the home.

Sometimes it’s the spaces in between that make the biggest difference.

Beautiful spaces begin with a vision.

For me, interior design is about more than choosing beautiful furniture or the perfect colour palette. It’s about creating a space that feels intentional, welcoming, and uniquely yours.

At YF Designs, I help transform ideas into thoughtfully designed interiors through carefully planned layouts, cohesive finishes, furniture selections, styling, and realistic 3D visualizations — so you can see the vision before bringing it to life.

Whether you’re refreshing one room or reimagining several spaces in your home, I’d love to help you create something beautiful. 🤍

This is proof that even the smallest spaces deserve thoughtful design.

Good design isn’t always about changing everything. Sometimes it’s about knowing exactly what to add, where to place it, and how to bring everything together.

A living room designed to make a statement.

Rich chocolate brown, deep burgundy, sculptural black marble and warm neutral tones come together to create a space that feels sophisticated, dramatic and inviting.

For this concept, every element was intentionally layered — from the organic statement mirrors and bubble chandelier to the patterned rug, sculptural décor and luxurious accent chairs. The burgundy details bring just the right amount of colour while complementing the warmth of the brown sectional and natural wood flooring.

The result is a contemporary interior with personality, depth and a touch of unexpected glamour.

From the initial concept and furniture selections to the floor plan, materials and final visualization — every detail is considered as part of the complete design.

FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY
Swipe through this transformation journey — from the initial design concept and moodboard, to detailed floor planning, furniture selection, 3D visualizations, and the final implementation.

This sunroom living space was designed to feel warm, elevated, cozy, and timeless while maximizing natural light and architectural beauty.
We combined soft neutral tones, olive green upholstery, rich walnut finishes, layered textures, oversized windows, vaulted ceilings, and statement lighting to create a luxury modern organic interior that feels both sophisticated and welcoming.

Every detail was carefully planned:
▫️ Space planning & furniture layout
▫️ Custom moodboard & design concept
▫️ Floorplan development
▫️ Furniture & accessories sourcing
▫️ Lighting selection
▫️ Material & color coordination
▫️ Photorealistic 3D visualization
▫️ Final implementation guidance

Seeing a design evolve from an idea into a fully visualized reality is always the most rewarding part of the process

This small and narrow workspace was completely reimagined into a calm, functional and visually balanced home office that feels brighter, larger and more inviting.

By using soft earthy tones, layered textures, warm wood finishes and harmonious styling, the entire space now feels open, cozy and aesthetically elevated without changing the layout itself.

The floating shelves, vertical slat detailing and carefully selected accessories create depth and visual interest while maintaining a clean and uncluttered look. Every element was intentionally chosen to work together seamlessly and maximize the feeling of space

BEFORE → AFTER TRANSFORMATION

This bedroom went from basic and underwhelming… to a calm, elevated, designer space

The goal? Create a warm, modern organic retreat that feels cohesive, luxurious, and effortlessly styled.

Here’s how we transformed the space 👇

▫️ Repainted walls to a soft light beige to instantly brighten and warm up the room
▫️ Upgraded lighting to a modern gold fixture for a more elevated focal point
▫️ Introduced a large neutral area rug to ground the space and add softness
▫️ Layered bedding with creams, beiges + green accents for that designer hotel feel
▫️ Added a custom green bench for depth, texture, and functionality
▫️ Styled with curated accessories (vases, greenery, candles) for a lived-in luxury look
▫️ Replaced artwork with oversized abstract pieces to create balance and scale
▫️ Upgraded mirror + decor details to bring cohesion and warmth

Every detail was intentional — from textures to tones — to create a space that feels calm, cohesive, and elevated

This is what thoughtful design does

Warm textures. Soft curves. Balanced tones.
A space that feels calm, refined, and quietly luxurious.

Most people think a beautiful home requires more stuff.
In reality — it requires the right vision.

Notice this space:
– soft curves instead of harsh lines
– tones that blend, not compete
– warmth layered through texture, not color overload

Nothing is random.
This is where everything comes together.

If your space feels unfinished, it’s not missing pieces…
it’s missing direction.
