Forever A Dancer

Come join us for the first FOREVER A DANCER speaker event on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd from 6-8pm. This FREE Toronto event is for a small group of passionate and inspiring artists who have started in dance and are using the principles from their training to build personal and professional success across various industries.

The first speaker is Emily Ward who is the Co-Founder of the multi-faceted PR and Influencer agency Shine. Launching in 2015, the team has now grown to have offices in Toronto and Los Angeles servicing brands and agencies with their social storytelling campaigns. Forever A Dancer at heart, Emily launched her career by studying Dance at York University and has since used the principles of her training to help reach her personal and professional success.

“Dance is still the thing that fuels me in times of stress. My body is reminded of all the training and strength that I have built over the years. I feel reconnected, balanced and ready to take on what’s in front of me."

It may seem like you're starting from scratch, but it's a second life. It's an enrichment, an amazing opportunity to do even more.

When you are still dancing, I think it's important to cultivate curiosity: Curiosity for other environments, curiosity for others. I had that appetite. I'm now able to be at the helm of this organization and really feel empowered to make a difference. I'm coming back to my first love."
