Hey YOU!! We have a big surprise to share!!
Four years ago, after getting signed to a label, we released a song about my Diet Coke obsession. The track dropped on Nov 30th and was basically dead on arrival, having no way to compete with the December Christmas music and the industry shutting down for the holidays
But over time the song started to find its people. I don’t know whether it was me playing it across Boston so often, word of mouth, or a mix of both but we regularly get people at gigs saying “I’m here for the Diet Coke song”
And that’s where our BIG NEWS comes into play
In just over a week we will be releasing a new version of Aspartame rebuilt from the ground up at with and the full band.
We also recorded a KICKASS video with my talented friend
The song and video is everything I could have hoped for and shows the definitive growth of this project from solo act recording videos in my apartment alone to the full band production of Last Second Dropout
