If you are looking for an authentic and incredible South Indian dining experience, Jayalakshmi Restaurant is hands-down the best in town. We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is spotless, follows all safety precautions, and the hospitality makes you feel right at home.
The Food (The Real Showstoppers):
You cannot go wrong with their menu, but these are the absolute standouts:
• Gobi Manchurian & Chicken 65: Both are absolute “must-tries.” Perfectly spiced, crispy, and bursting with flavor.
• Veg Khorma with Paratha: A “must-must-try!” The khorma is rich and creamy, pairing perfectly with the flaky, layered parathas.
• Ghee Roast Rava Dosa: Incredibly crispy and served with unlimited in-house sambar and chutney that tastes like home.
• Chicken Biryani: It’s easy to see why this is their most-liked dish—aromatic, tender, and perfectly seasoned.
• Rose Milk: This is a “must-must-must try.” It’s made with in-house ingredients and is the perfect refreshing end to the meal.
• New Additions: Don’t miss the Egg Bhajjie (a delicious new addition) and the classic Onion Bhajji. Wash it all down with their zesty Mint Lime.
The Verdict:
Whether you are a fan of South Indian cuisine or a first-timer, this place will not disappoint. The combination of high-quality food, safety standards, and generous portions (especially the unlimited sides!) makes it a 10/10.

when I thought I knew good ramen, Super Bowl Toronto completely raised the bar. 🍜💥
This bowl was an absolute flavour BOMB. The broth was incredibly rich and savoury—you can tell it’s been simmering for hours. The noodles had the perfect chew, the chashu pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and don’t even get me started on that perfect jammy egg. 🍳
Honestly, this is pure comfort in a bowl. If you’re downtown and need a food hug, this is the spot. 10/10 will be dreaming about this until I go back.

This is the excellent traditional south Indian food restaurant with local south indian theme and numerous amount of variety which you will never find in any other restaurant as you can see this are IDLI POPPERS in my hand which was totally new item for me and had soft and crispy taste if you want to enjoy the best and all different varieties of South Indian food then trust me this should be your first and last choice .official.
