From LPCI office - in case you missed it-
IMPORTANT NOTE: Late starts at Lawrence Park CI are suspended until further notice due to the labor actions of OSSTF starting Wednesday, November 27, 2019, and all Wednesdays thereafter. Wednesdays will be rescheduled as regular school day and will begin at 8:50 am and end at 3:10 pm.

LPCI Demonstration at Lunchtime tomorrow, Thursday June 6, 12:30pm!!

Gather near the main entrance in front of the school to protest cuts to education by the provincial government!!

Let’s demonstrate to support in-class instruction (vs mandatory e-learning), smaller class sizes, variety of subjects,
diverse programming, central supports (sociologists, audiologists, psychologists) and so much more that these provincial cuts will take away from Ontario students!!

Parents, students, teachers and other supporters are welcome to join!!

What’s a walk in?

Gather 30 min before afternoon classes start (signs welcome: “Respect Our Students: No Cuts to Education!!”) to demonstrate against cuts to education by the provincial government.

Then, just before the bell and as a united group, walk in to the school to begin afternoon classes.

Please Note: Our LPCI grade 9 students are writing EQAO’s tomorrow morning and we wish them well. So, we’re postponing LP’s demonstration until lunchtime, starting at 12:30.

If you can’t make it to LPCI at lunchtime, you can join the walk-in at nearby schools!!

The protest is province wide!!

Come out for an evening of song, dance and a fashion show put on by our very talented LPCI students. All proceeds will go to Carly's Angels.
