The BFL CANADA Equine Team has been providing quality insurance and risk management services to the Canadian equestrian community for over 20 years.

Horses present unique risk issues, whether they are used for pleasure, show, breeding, racing, or other commercial purposes. Your insurance broker must be able to identify these challenges—specific not only to the horse industry, but also to your particular discipline—and provide you with insurance products and risk management advice that will adequately protect you, your equine partner, and your

equestrian operations. BFL CANADA Equine has provided insurance solutions to Canada’s equestrian community for over twenty years. Our reputation has grown to the point that we have been appointed the official insurance broker for Equine Canada, the Ontario Equestrian Federation, the Newfoundland Equestrian Association, the Quebec Equestrian Federation, the Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society, as well as for numerous provincial, regional, and local clubs and associations across Canada. Our experienced equine insurance specialists are also lifetime horse people who fully understand the risks faced by horse owners and equestrian professionals. As such, we have developed insurance programs and worked closely with insurers to provide the most comprehensive coverage possible for the highly specialized requirements of equestrians, clubs, service providers, and horses. Our current insurance products include, but are not limited to:
Horse Mortality packages – can be customized to include medical expenses, loss of use, tack, liability, and more;

Equine Farm and Equestrian Facility packages, – including residential and commercial property and

crime and liability insurance, all in one policy;

Freelance Coach packages – including commercial liability, property insurance, crime insurance, and coach AD&D coverage;

Equine Club packages – including general liability, property insurance (where needed), and directors’ and officers’ liability;

Farriers’ Liability packages – tools can be included on request;

Grooms’ Liability packages – for those employed in the horse industry on a contract basis (other than coaches or instructors);

Horse Shows, Horse Trials, Clinics and Special

Events;

Horse Day Camps;

Travel Medical Insurance for Equestrians;

Equine Veterinarian packages – including medical malpractice coverage;

Equine Assisted Therapy and Equine Facilitated

Learning;
