Today, I joined Sysco and Second Harvest to celebrate their incredible work helping feed families, reduce food waste and strengthen communities across Ontario.
The Terry Fox Monument in Thunder Bay is a tribute to a Canadian hero whose Marathon of Hope inspired a nation.
Our government is investing over $300,000 to upgrade the Terry Fox Visitor Centre, preserving this historic site for generations to come.

Our $3.4 billion Primary Care Action Plan is connecting hundreds of thousands of people across Ontario to convenient, high-quality primary care close to home.
Today in Thunder Bay, I visited the Port Arthur Health Centre, which has received nearly $1 million in funding and which has already signed up 8,000 patients, which is three times its original target!

We’re investing nearly $3 million to expand and upgrade port facilities in Thunder Bay and Marathon, supporting trade between Ontario and Western Canada and creating good-paying jobs here in northern Ontario.

Today, I spoke at Toronto City Hall about our plan to diversify Ontario’s trading relationships so we can protect workers and bring in new investments to Ontario.
We want to get back to tariff-free trade with the United States, but we’re also opening new trading partnerships in markets around the world for Ontario’s world-class products.
