The equality effect is a non-profit, charitable organization that uses human rights law to make girls’/women’s rights real.
The equality effect uses human rights law to achieve concrete change in the lives of women and girls in Ghana, Kenya and Malawi – change that will improve the health, safety, and standard of living of women and girls. Women and girls have legal rights to equality – the challenge is often making those rights real, so that, for example, girls are safe from r**e, the spread of HIV/AIDS, and are safe
