Is AI Changing the Way We Work?

Yes, AI is changing many jobs and how we work every day. Before, people did everything by hand. Now, AI helps with many tasks like writing emails, making schedules, and finding information quickly.

AI saves time and makes work easier. For example, it can check grammar, translate languages, or even talk to customers through chatbots. This helps workers finish tasks faster and focus on more important things.

Some people use AI to get new ideas, plan projects, or learn new skills. It’s like having a smart assistant that is always ready to help.

But we still need to be careful. AI can make mistakes, and it cannot replace human thinking or creativity. We need to learn how to use AI in the best way so it supports our work—not controls it.

This past weekend, the Dunn House Welcome Event brought together over 200 people – tenants, staff, community partners, and neighbours – to celebrate the opening of this unique supportive housing initiative.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the day so special. From the tenant-led organizing committee to the friendly faces from University Health Network Bickle Centre, the event reflected the kind of community spirit Dunn House was built to foster.
