New IRCC Express Entry report, reviewing system's 2017 performance, shows number of issued Federal Skilled Worker ITAs (Invitations to Apply) increased by 400% from 8,332 in 2016 to 41,364 in 2017, while invitations issued to Canadian Experience Class candidates rose from 15,102 in 2016 to 35,020 in 2017.
In addition, average processing time of Federal Skilled Worker Applications was reduced to 4 months (6 months in 2016).
This improvement was caused by changes in Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score counting.

Canada ranked fourth most-accepting country in the world for immigrants according to new Gallup study, scoring 8.14 out of possible 9 in Gallup’s Migrant Acceptance Index.
The index is based on “increasing degrees of proximity.”
