Bookbinding Studio, founded in 1980. Don Taylor has been a bookbinder in Toronto since 1980. Don Taylor was born in Edmonton AB. and grew up in Windsor ON.
His practice includes book restoration, design bindings, portfolio making and corporate and edition binding for design firms, architects, small presses and private customers. He has an MA in Romance languages from the U of Windsor in 1975. In 1977 Don moved to Toronto and studied bookbinding with Beatrice Stock, and with Seamas McClafferty, and Annegret Hunter-Elsenbach at Sheridan College in Oakv
