Honestly, thank you to everyone I met on this trip that accepted me with open arms. I genuinely love you, why? Because it’s hard to find genuine people that will accept you for YOU, not for what you can offer! So to that, I say thank you❤️ if you’re not in a photo I still love you😂

I cannot express in words how much this solo trip to Bali opened my eyes and changed my life but here are a list of things I’ve learned.
*

1. Be your true authentic self and the right people will gravitate towards your authenticity ❤️

2. You are never truly alone✊🏾

3. Being kind and optimistic will open doors that negativity and pessimism could never❌

4. YOU HAVE NOT MET ALL THE PEOPLE YOU WERE MEANT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH!

5. Travelling will allow you to see that the world is much bigger than you think. Do not get trapped in your home town, you are missing out on what the world has to offer!

In this season of singleness I am finally finding myself again! God separates you, so he can mold you back into who you were called to be!❤️

What I’ve been doing!
- Did a solo trip to Vancouver for the Kes Concert 🔥
- Watching FIFA with the boys go 🇨🇦
- Brought a switch and slushie machine for my class on the last day of school 🥤
- Did a lot of hiking and running 🏃🏾
- Brought my boy for a night of Karaoke 🎤
- Picked up boxing 🥊
- Started playing Pickleball 🙌🏾

I’ve learned a valuable lesson this month, one I needed to learn for a long time.

“Surround yourself with people who love you for your character, not your resume.“

It’s a liberating feeling when you can be around people who genuinely love you for you, not for what you accomplished or achieved. 🕊️

Things I’ve been doing:
Going to cookouts with close friends 🍔
Obviously hanging out dogs😂
Painting and doing music with my students 🎨
Joined a baseball team ⚾️
Ran in track and field day and won over $100 for running 100m 200m 400m and 800m 💰

Stay where you are celebrated not tolerated ❤️

Month of April: “The story people tell about you is based on who is telling the story, no matter what you do it’ll be based on interpretation. Therefore, do what YOU want to do, because that’s what truly matters in the end.”

What I have been doing:
🏃🏾‍♂️ Joined a step challenge and ran ten 10K’s is 10 days
🌳 Did a lot of hiking and exploring around the Valley
⛰️ Spent time finding waterfalls (there’s so many, the one I’m standing at is LITERALLY off the side of the road😂)
🏠 Spent quality time hanging out with friends ❤️
👨🏽‍🏫 Pushing through teaching my Grade 4’s

Everything Hallelujah ❤️ Glory to God for everything, the good and the bad. The Holy Spirit has been really confronting, challenging and changing me. That is something I am grateful for, because I know He’s preparing me for His work. ✝️

What I’ve been doing:
I fostered a puppy! I named him “Coola” 🐶
Snowboarding at the skii hill 🏔️
Went cross country skiing 🎿
Hiking the beautiful trails near my house🏡
Mondays are now Mario party Mondays 👾
Celebrated my birthday (Thank you for the surprise😭)
Still trying to be an amazing teacher to these students! 🧑🏾‍🏫
