Helen's slaughterhouse located behind the Stockyards Village shopping complex at Keele Street and St. We encourage everyone to come bear witness to the reality for these cows caused by our daily choices. They desperately need YOUR voice.
Many people believe that consuming dairy (breastmilk of a cow) causes no harm.
This is exactly what the dairy industry wants us to believe but this could not be further from the truth.
Dairy uses the body of mothers as a machine and when they’ve worn her body and spirit down, she is discarded like a replaceable object. At just a fraction of her natural lifespan of 25 years, she is sent to be ground into hamburger.
In this video, a truck carries away the bodies of exhausted mother cows from dairy from St.Helen’s slaughterhouse in Toronto. Mothers who have died en route to the slaughterhouse or did not fit requirement for human consumption.
Please don’t support an industry that uses and causes unspeakable suffering to sentient mothers. Switch to delicious, nutritious plant milk today.

Babies are born on the kill floor while their mothers are being slaughtered. They are placed in a pen and later killed themselves.
This is all they ever know of life.
Their mother is killed as they are born, and then they wait for hours for a bolt to be fired into their own little heads. Sometimes the bolt doesn’t kill them, and they are left writhing on the ground, in pain and confused, unable to stand.
This is the reality
This is why I’m vegan.
