Luckily the other half of my day is walking and it is easy to hit the 10,000 step mark!!!

Who knew there was sea to ski in less than 1.5 hours from Mediterranean town of Nice !!

Ushuaia - once you learn to say it - then it’s time to learn about the most southern city in the world.

It was once famous for its jail but also the gateway port for ships to Antartica, and Patagonia as well as beautiful scenery where the Andes meet the sea (and skiing in winter time). It is summer there now with sun setting around 10pm but the temperature never really rises much beyond 12-15 Celcius - so not much of a southern getaway! They call it “End of the World”.

When you think snow - some people think Antartica and some people think skiing!
