Recent changes by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will help ensure a sustainable and positive experience for international students. Here's what you need to know:

Key Updates:

1️⃣ New Off-Campus Work Limit

Eligible students can now work up to 24 hours per week off-campus during classes.

2️⃣ Changing Learning Institutions

Students must apply for and receive approval for a new study permit before transferring to a different school.

3️⃣ Compliance by Schools

Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) must report student compliance and verify acceptance letters. Non-compliance may lead to suspension from accepting new international students.

4️⃣ LOA Verification Success

Since December 2023, over 529,000 Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) have been verified, ensuring integrity in the application process.
