Today I spent over three hours with an older woman who is homeless.
I initially thought I was going to just run some errands but something was telling me to go a different route than usual. I like to switch things up so i did.
After leaving one of the stores I noticed a sweet looking older woman old enough to be my grandmother with a cart full of things and beautiful hand made cloths that she crocheted herself 🧶😍 I went up to compliment them then she started to share her story and it was so raw and felt important that I hold some space for her story. So I listened and she was telling me the horrors she’d lived through and yet still continues to keep faith through God. Incredibly strong.
I offered to get her something to eat and she admitted what she was able to eat due to special diet was a few blocks away…
So I said sure so we walked together with my doggy and her cart down the road a few blocks plus passing the highway and then a few more blocks 😜
we got to the place and then got some food for her and Then the most special part was I shared my music with her 🥹😍❤️

And you guys… it’s moments like these that truly inspire me to share my music
It’s the quiet, deeply moving moments like this that let me know I’m operating in my purpose.
She then gifted me a cloth in return and I accepted to maintain her dignity 🥹🙏🏻
Someone from the outside may of thought it was just me helping her but the truth is I felt guided by God and am so grateful I did because it ended up me being the one who received gifts money cannot buy …

& no, she never tried to reach out because when I laid it out she knew there was no salvaging the damage she’s caused and continued to cause
