Today, we’re strengthening how students learn about the Holocaust and antisemitism in Ontario’s Grade 10 Canadian History curriculum.

Students will deepen their understanding of the impact of the Holocaust on Jewish community, examine the responses of the Canadian government and individuals at the time, and learn about the effects of antisemitism here in Canada.

Great visiting UNITY Charity at their Midtown location and getting a tour of the space.

I had the chance to meet Mahad Shoaib, Executive Director and Kieon Bisnath, Board Member and hear how they’re empowering young people through mentorship, arts, and leadership programming.

Thank you for all that you do!

Always meaningful to spend time with community leaders who are building opportunity right here in our community.

Thank you to Dario DiBernardo, Luciano Schipano, and Estefania Perez, members of the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association, for the thoughtful and meaningful conversation. Strong business networks create jobs, mentor the next generation, and strengthen Ontario’s economy.

🚇 A big step forward for transit in Ontario.

I was proud to be part of delivering this morning’s Ontario Line announcement alongside Premier Doug Ford, Minister Prabmeet Sarkaria, Minister Todd McCarthy, Minister Raymond Cho, MPP Mohammed Firin, MPP Dave Smith, and MPP Hardeep Grewal.

The Ontario Line will connect more neighbourhoods, shorten commutes, and create jobs across our province. It is a major investment in the future of Toronto and the GTA.

Great to visit Centura Tile and connect with VP Matt Hider.

As one of the biggest businesses in Eglinton–Lawrence, Centura Tile plays a major role in our local economy. Ontario businesses like this create jobs, drive investment, and strengthen our building and renovation sector.

Thank you for the tour and for the work you’re doing to grow our province.
