Here’s a bit about Yanik:
Yanik Gosselin, hailed for “his masterful diction and his well-supported upper register” (Opera Canada), is a passionate storyteller, a sensitive musician, and a committed collaborator. His repertoire which includes a wide range of music, from early baroque operas to world premiere performances, and even a background in rock music, is a testament to his versatility. In June, he will be returning to Grande Prairie Opera to sing the role of Tonio in La Fille du régiment. He will be making his Fringe debut at the Toronto Fringe Festival in his one-man show BRAVA: A Cabaret of Devotions. yanikgosselin.com.

Here’s a bit about Ivan:
Ivan Estey Jovanovic’s music education began in Serbia at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade where he completed his BMus and MMus in piano performance. In 2005, he joined Belgrade Opera Orchestra as a principal vocal coach, mastering an enormous opera repertoire. Jovanovic came to Toronto in 2013 to complete his MMus. in Collaborative Piano from the University of Toronto under the professorship of Steven Philcox. After winning the prestigious Gwendolyn Williams Koldofsky Prize in Accompanying, he joined the UofT Opera Division as a vocal coach and pianist until 2017. In 2023, Jovanovic began his collaboration with classical saxophone students at UofT. Presently, he is a regular vocal coach and harpsichordist in UofT’s Early Music Department and Schola Cantorum. From 2014 to present, Jovanovic has been the accompanist at Toronto City Opera.

Here’s a bit about Maddy:
Maddy Cooper is a mezzo soprano living in Toronto. Originally from Niagara Falls, Ontario she completed her degree in vocal performance at Wilfrid Laurier University and has been on the move, gathering inspiration ever since. After her most recent sojourn into peril & paradise living in Scotland, she’s back on the scene with a vengeance; writing, playing, performing & directing like her life depends on it- because as any artist knows, it does. You can usually find her onstage with Opera in Concert, Toronto Operetta Theatre and Poetry Brothel, or you can find her in an east-end cafe with big windows, plotting her next production of Rocky Horror Picture Show. She’ll be making her debut with Opera York on February 27th & March 2nd in their production of Lucia di Lammermoor as Alisa.

Here’s a bit about Jamaica:
Jamaica Fraser is a multidisciplinary performer based in Brampton, Ontario. She is a heels dancer with SHE The Company and a performer with CAKE Cabaret. A graduate of George Brown College’s Dance Performance program, her work spans stage and screen, with credits including Mr. Monk’s Last Case, Bluebeard’s Castle, and Holly Hobbie. She was part of the Dora Award–winning production of Bluebeard’s Castle and received a nomination for Outstanding Ensemble. Rooted in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and heels, Jamaica brings musicality, emotional depth, and a strong physical presence to cabaret and live performance.

Here’s a bit about A’Slayna:
A’Slayna Von Hunt, Canada’s versatile vixen, mixing high glamour and bad dad jokes with just a dash of danger. A’Slayna has performed across Canada, founded Barrie’s first burlesque school, produced over 250 burlesque performances and is currently choreographing, costuming and performing at Cake Cabaret in Toronto. A’Slayna is part of the Slain Productions team, creating sold-out shows like ‘Fellowstrip of the Rings’ as well as successful community-based monthly shows, like ‘Bootleggers Burlesque’.

Proud pansexual male, q***r, genderbender, fashionable nudist, and natural born stripper. It’s no wonder he fits in so well in the burlesque world, with a new found love for the art, he finally feels HOME. Born and raised in Windsor, ON, he is taking on the burlesque world by storm! Performing for High Society Cabaret, PeepshowTO, Troyboy Entertainment, the Toronto Burlesque Festival, Toronto Pride, World Pride, the International Nerdlesque Festival, and many more. He feels truly ELATED to be part of such a wonderful community...
