I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve heard contractors claim that something is impossible or that designers ask for too much. But here’s the truth: everything can be accomplished with passion, perseverance, and the right team! 😉👌✨

Recently, we received a request to redesign the family room TV area aiming for a more modern, stylish, and luxurious design. The previous homeowner had a gas fireplace with simple tile work, and the TV was mounted much too high. Our goal was not only to enhance the aesthetics but also to improve functionality.

The first step involved demolishing the existing gas fireplace to install a full slab of natural stone marble, creating a stunning focal point. Additionally, we upgraded the TV cabinet by removing the glass doors and adding thick grey shelves, adding solid doors in the bottom cabinet, and lighting to achieve a more transitional design.

Despite the challenging weight and size of the slabs—each weighing 600 kg and being quite fragile—the marble team handled everything with expertise and care. I was particularly impressed by their seamless fitting of the slabs, which transformed the fireplace into a breathtaking centerpiece.
