This is part of a challenge inspired by
I decided to take on this challenge to practice using gouache/coloured pencils, and to learn to loosen up my drawings and learn to minimize the details.

Quiet people have the loudest minds. This is SO true!

I woke up this morning with a lot on my mind. It almost feels like my feet have finally hit the ground running—about certain aspects of my life (writing and art). In other areas of my life, I am dragging my feet because they are larger decisions.

This year I have to push myself in certain areas, even if they are an uncomfortable place for me, and see how things turn out.

I'd also like to connect to other writers in the community (at large). I tend to stay to myself, and that's not a great thing to do. So here's to being (a bit) more social and connecting with other writers and artists.

Another thing I have to be is CONSISTENT. I have a tendency to start things (aka marketing, videos, etc.) and then fizzle out. So what's important here is I find a good tempo for myself.

Anyone else feel this way too?

I don’t usually do selfies but I miss wearing my velvet coat and gloves. Do you prefer cold or hot weather?
