Please enjoy this montage of my favourite laundry designs! From dedicated rooms, to incorporating them into an open plan, I love the challenge of making them both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

This Beaches rental had been split into two units and we were hired to creatively convert it back to a single unit all while sticking to a strict budget. The original dining room had been converted to a bedroom and reclaiming that space allowed for an open concept living area with a much roomier kitchen.

Starting 2026 off sharing a favourite from 2025! Relocating the staircase to the basement allowed us to open up what was once a hallway kitchen into a grand functional space for these Homeowners.

We took this basement from a dark storage cave to a bright and livable part of the home. Here the slop sink area has been refreshed, a powder room added, and covered storage finishes it off under the new stairs.

This laundry room was part of a full basement renovation and I love how it turned out. The custom cabinets allowed us to maximize storage and creatively work around obstacles like bulkheads and access panels.

I love to maximize storage and the space under your basement stairs is often underutilized. Here are some of my favourite designs for that area on past projects.

As summer turns to fall I'm inspired to share some of my favourite media areas with fireplaces from past projects. What's better than curling up with a nice blanket in front of a fire to enjoy a good movie on a cool fall day?

What was once a small bedroom and hallway kitchen is now opened up to a larger kitchen with a Scullery. My Client loves to can and preserve and now they have a dedicated area for it! Moving the stairs to the basement also allowed for a larger kitchen with an island which I'll share in a future post 😉
