This is a weekly 1-hour drumming session, designed to teach and benefit absolute beginners and aspiring amateur drummers. Please see description below for more details.

Fees: $40/month per attendee // 10% sibling discount per additional sibling // Flat rate of $100/month for the whole family.

All payments are requested in cash upon attendance.

DESCRIPTION:
This is a weekly session, designed to teach and benefit absolute beginners and aspiring amateur drummers. The workshop is oriented towards attendees of all ages, and will be most effective for ages 12 to 85.

The intention behind offering these sessions is to beautify the gatherings of the remembrance of Allah (ﷻ) and His beloved (ﷺ). The intended outcome is to increase hand drumming literacy, and bring people to a point where they can *begin* to play as an ensemble.

The focus will be on developing an instinct for drumming, and understanding some of the “mechanics under the hood”, after which unpacking and learning traditional beats from various cultural backgrounds will become much easier insha’Allah.

The venue is in Brampton at Kennedy Rd. & Williams Parkway, and we begin on Sunday 17th May 2026.

Absolute beginners are *absolutely* welcome.

One thing I can promise you — when we reach a full-capacity attendance, this workshop will be a *LOT* of fun!
