Somatic Freestyle Movement
Curious to explore creative embodied pathways for processing thoughts and emotions? This is your invitation to an open monthly group therapy circle focused somatic processing. Somatic therapy is a type of therapy that works by strengthening the mind-body connection. If you want to get out of your head and into your body, this might be the answer. We will be using group processes and prompts to explore the edge of our movement freestyle. Exercises will include visualization, narrative exploration, role play and writing to name a few.
This is an open group therapy circle, with recurring monthly sessions. Spaces limited to 6 participants. Intake, waiver and confidentiality agreement will be required. No dance experience required, please dress in comfortable layers. Please note session(s) maybe be billed to your insurance provider.
INSURANCE RECEIPT NOTES
Following the workshop, we will be providing Abby with your email addresses listed on your profile. She will be emailing you directly with your receipt.

is back!! If you've been looking for a chance to experience the enchanting world of Contemporary Pole then this workshop is tailor made for you! Don't let this opportunity slip by – join us for a captivating 75-minute session led by the talented LeeAnn.
Discover the beauty of storytelling through movement in this expressive Contemporary Pole Workshop.
Blending contemporary dance with pole, this workshop explores musicality, flow, dynamics, and emotional expression through choreographed movement and creative exploration. Together, we'll learn how to move seamlessly on and off the pole while experimenting with qualities such as softness, power, suspension, release, and breath.
This workshop emphasizes artistry, connection, and finding your own authentic movement style. Students will learn a contemporary-inspired combination that can be danced in bare feet or socks, with opportunities to explore personal interpretation and expression throughout.
Whether you're new to contemporary movement or looking to deepen your artistry, this workshop offers a welcoming space to move, create, and connect.
Recommended Level: Beginner+ (students should be comfortable with basic pole spins and transitions.)
What to Bring: Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Bare feet or socks are recommended. Knee pads are optional but encouraged.
