Springtime is for Livers… — Acupuncturist & Herbalist 04/27/2021

Spring is all about rebirth as we welcome a new cycle of growth. Within every seed resides a plan; a genetic blueprint that maps out its destiny from sprout to tree. Spring is the season of the Wood Element, the Planner amongst the fab five. They both thrive on change and transformation.

The Resilience of The Water Element; Attaining Peak Zhi — Acupuncturist & Herbalist 03/23/2021

Fear can cause a myriad of physiological changes in the body and dictate how we react. Thanks to our well-developed amygdala's, we as humans are primed for this emotion. It's very important to discern what the threat is; are we in danger or are we panicking about events that have yet to happen? It's time we open a dialogue with our fears; they're here for a reason, to help us.

This Winter is Soooo Dry…

These stay-at-home vibes feel stale, for sure, but my skin is parched! I cannot catch-up with my hydration needs these days. And don’t even get me started on my hands!
But this is supposed to be the water season in Chinese medicine? How and why am I so dry?

I am proud to announce that I will be joining the fabulous healthcare team at Urban Wellness!

This holistic healthcare clinic, nestled in the heart of Little Italy, has been a local staple.

Attention Eastenders: I will still be working at Living Waters Therapies every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Don’t worry, I got you ;)

I’ve been looking to expand my practise and I’m excited to be back in the Westend. Please feel free to share this post with anyone who refuses to go east of Spadina.

Manifestation in action. I am stoked for the year ahead!

Water Winter Lockdown — Acupuncturist & Herbalist 01/18/2021

So when I heard, ‘Stay-At-Home-Orders’ and recognized it’s January my tension eased slightly; look at that, we’re in Water Season…

Be Curious — Acupuncturist & Herbalist 01/11/2021

Many of us use the time prior to the new year to reflect upon the events, losses and triumphs of the previous one. Do we want more of the same, or are necessary changes needed? I understand that some choose to commit to a new years resolution to improve their life. On its face, this all sounds quite noble.

I don’t believe in resolutions, I believe in intention setting and here’s why.
