Thank you for including in your wonderful screenplay festival. And an honour to make the short list, too!

Despite taking a minute to post about it (due to the arrival of our brand-new family member) I’m still thrilled the screenplay was so well received at the height of Coverfly’s screenwriting era. Just before they passed the baton to the International Screenwriters Association in late 2025, it hit the top 3% of all screenplays, the top 4% of all comedies, and peaked at #8 in Comedy Features on the “Red List” — the industry’s top merit-based leaderboard for 2025. Nice to see that audiences are still drawn to dark (pitch-black at times) comedy. Exciting news to come!

 

Apparently having a baby takes all of one’s time away. So… nearly a year later I get around to posting these laurels, starting with for my feature screenplay being a finalist and moving swiftly from buzz, momentum, and interest, into development (though, not posting about it so swiftly) ☺️☺️☺️

It is with deep regret that we, his family, announce the passing of the man and the artist, David Lynch. We would appreciate some privacy at this time. There’s a big hole in the world now that he’s no longer with us. But, as he would say, “Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.”

It’s a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies all the way.
