Today I am writng from El Paredon, Guatemala - a beautiful beach with an awesome surf break that I first discovered 8 years ago.
Before I came to El Paredon, I travelled up and down the Pacific and Carribean coasts for Central America, looking for the perfect surf town.
When I finally stoped in this friendly, sleepy fishing village with a great wave, I knew I had found my spot. Now I'm here building the first part of our surf camp. Our property is at the end of a sand road, just a few meters from the surf!
I will Guatemala until the end of May - One Heart will be open Friday to Sunday until I get back.
Looking forward to sharing my progress with you!

Many of you I have been honoured to call friends since my first weeks in Canada, one cold winter many years go. I first set up my table with my jewellery in front of Toms Place, then moved to my own place on Kensington ave, expanded and started making and designing shoes, and now recently to my beautiful new spot on Baldwin. And you have been with me the whole way. Now I am so exited to be nominated in TWO categories in Now Readers Choice Awards - best shoe store and best jewellery store in Toronto.
