The Action for Community & Development Network (ACDN) has successfully established a six-month Tailoring and Beauty Parlor training program in Pakistan, specifically designed for Afghan refugee women and girls. This initiative provides both learning and practical experience, empowering participants to gain valuable skills for self-sufficiency. Additionally, ACDN has taken in contract a Skill Development Center offering comprehensive training in electrician, plumbing, and welding trades for men and youth. This program equips them with practical skills, enabling them to support their families and contribute to their communities' economic stability.

Millions of Afghan girls inside and outside Afghanistan are still out of school. Since March 2022, the current Afghan government has not allowed girls to attend schools above the 6th grade. It is one of the biggest and fastest educational disruptions to girls' lives since World War II.

Computers, webcams, tablets and distance learning equipment have become a top need and priority. ACDN Fund, along with generous supporters like you, can help Afghan Girls continue their education. Please donate now. Each classroom is fully equipped and supports 20 children with a reliable internet connection and all the necessary resources and supplies for teachers to continue teaching online. Lessons are taught online from Afghanistan using a standard curriculum published by the Afghan Ministry of Education.

One of the most important benefits of girl education is that the country's future will be brighter and better. Similarly, our economy can grow faster if more and more women become financially strong thereby reducing poverty. Furthermore, women who are educated can take proper care of their children.
