Jerico is Canadian Made Socially Conscious Apparel
We belabour the point because our decision to remain a domestic manufacturer is a deliberate choice to support the local economy, provide a safe working environment and make quality garments that stand the test of time. It was a family business that grew in leaps and bounds as the textile industry flourished in Canada. Knitting machines ran 24 h

New year. Same principles.
Still made here.
In 2025, we saw a real resurgence in support for Made in Canada — a renewed appreciation for local jobs, skilled hands, and doing things the right way.
As we move into 2026, let’s keep that momentum going.
At Jerico, we continue to cut, sew, and finish our garments in Canada, under one roof, with no shortcuts and no compromises.
Thank you for supporting Canadian manufacturing — last year, this year, and in the year ahead.

🇨🇦 This Canada Day, let’s celebrate more than just fireworks and flag-waving.
Let’s support the people who shape this country from the ground up — the makers, growers, and creators who keep our economy strong and our communities vibrant.
When you buy Canadian, you’re not just making a purchase — you’re investing in your neighbours, your city, and your country.
This July 1st, let’s stand a little prouder, and shop a little closer to home.
Support Canadian. Support local. ❤️🍁

Lately, there’s been talk — bold, offhand remarks — about Canada one day becoming the 51st state. It’s the kind of statement that provokes - but misunderstands who we are. Because for those of us who live and work here, our sense of place isn’t up for negotiation.
At Jerico, we knit our fabric in Canada. We dye it here. We cut and sew it here.
We’ve weathered storms, downturns, delays, and doubts.
But we’ve always believed in this country — and in the value of making something tangible, right here on Canadian soil.
Resilience isn’t just surviving hard times. It’s choosing, over and over, to do the right thing.
Keeping our production in Canada keeps our communities working, our supply chains close, and our integrity intact.
Canada won’t be a 51st state.
Not if we keep making, building, and believing in ourselves.

In a world where protectionist agendas threaten to unravel global trade, Canada MUST prioritize its own textile industry. Our jobs, our economy, and our sovereignty are at stake. A thriving domestic textile sector means fewer vulnerable supply chains, a lower environmental footprint, and more Canadian-made goods that we can be proud of. This is about protecting our workers, fueling innovation, and supporting sustainable practices that reflect our values. Let's stop relying on others to meet our needs and build an industry that’s resilient, independent, and sustainable. The time to act is now -

We’ve offered this t-shirt for years now. It’s a simple graphic of a maple leaf with minimal typography. Canadians have never been very vocal in their displays of national pride. We tend to be reserved – and have built an identity based on a quiet sense of community rather than boastfulness. We value politeness, and pride ourselves on being peaceful, tolerant and welcoming. But underneath our courtesy and respectfulness, is a grit and resolve that cannot be diminished. In these critical moments – our pride and tenacity have been on full display – and we’re going to keep showcasing it.
Until the end of this month – this t-shirt is going to be free with any purchase. All components of this t-shirt are ‘Made in Canada’ – all the way down to the fabric and label. This is a Canadian T-Shirt – Made by Canadians. Let’s keep building on this – because .

It’s a small print – on a small label – manufactured by a small business in Canada. But it reads clearly: “Made in Canada/Fait au Canada”. And as small as the print is – it means everything for our business.
We have always believed people care where their clothing is made. It’s a source of pride. It’s a source of inspiration. And more than ever – it’s a commitment to support domestic manufacturing and the broader communities in which we operate.
Making clothing in Canada is not easy. The trials of domestic manufacturing are numerous. But we never signed up for ‘easy’. When faced with challenges – we rise to the occasion – because

Jerico began manufacturing in Canada in 1987 – and we’ve never thought of doing it any other way. It has been difficult to maintain production domestically. In a sea of low cost imports – it takes a lot of conviction to double down on domestic manufacturing. But that’s what we believe in. We believe in the strength of Canadian labour. We believe in the quality and ingenuity of our country. And we believe in maintaining our resolve through hard times.
As times get increasingly difficult – and the existential threats loom large – we dig in our heels and work harder. Jerico has always dedicated itself to the growth and resilience of Canada’s manufacturing sector – and we won’t stop now. Because

and it has always mattered. When we outsource industry, when we outsource labour - we invariably outsource our livelihoods. Retaining domestic manufacturing grows our skill base and gives us agency in our country’s self determination. The most prosperous nations are ones that have a strong industrial base. More than ever we need to vote with our wallets and choose to support Canadian ingenuity, innovation and labour. Canada is a remarkable country - and its core values are a beacon for the world.
