I'm teaching a new workshop this summer and I need you to hear me out: Shakespearean improv.

We're taking the rhythm, the language, the over the top tragedy and comedy of Shakespeare's plays and turning it all into improv games. You don't need to have read a single play. You don't need to know a soliloquy from a sonnet. We're just going to steal Shakespeare's tricks and use them to build funny, bold scenes on the spot with a room full of strangers who are about to become your favorite scene partners
If you've ever wanted an excuse to say "thou villain" out loud without judgment, this is it.

Sunday, August 16th, 11am to 3pm at Comedy Bar Danforth (2800 Danforth Ave). $100 plus tax. We can only take 10 people so it'll be a small, focused group. Check out CBPRO's website for more details!

Catch me in last night’s episode of The Vampire Lestat (Season 3, Episode 7)! Huge thanks to director Alan Taylor, an amazing opportunity, and to writer Hannah Moscovitch, always a pleasure performing her work again.

Shoutout to Kaleb Horn, Deanna Dressel, and Allison Ferrence. It was a delight to play the fanatical village prêtre and lead that angry mob in burning some (alleged) child witches. Just doing my part to make the dark ages a little less dark.

Fingers crossed that I gave main character, Lestat de Lioncourt, enough PTSD to come after me later, so I get a few more days on set!
