School’s out!

Kids are home.
People are in and out of the office.
There are more interruptions throughout the day.

Instead of sitting down and working straight through, you’re handling things in between everything else.

An email comes in.
It looks normal.
You take care of it and move on.

No red flags. No second thought.

But this time of year, that’s often how security issues start.

When routines change and attention is split, it’s easier for the wrong thing to slip through.

Imagine hiring an intern and giving them access to your emails, client data and internal documents … And never checking their work.

It’s fast. Helpful. Impressive.

It can also:
Share data you didn’t mean to share
Use tools you didn’t approve
Create answers that sound right, but aren’t

𝗔 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗜𝗧 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

But it’s how a lot of issues get handled: Quick patch. Temporary fix.
“Should be good now.”

… until the same problem resurfaces.

That cycle costs you time, money and momentum.

We’ve all heard some version of these before
And to be fair, sometimes that is part of the process.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 “l𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀.”

You need clear answers, real solutions and someone who gets to the root of the problem.

You leave for the weekend, but your business doesn’t.
And neither do the people trying to break into it.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄.

𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.

More teams are starting to use AI in their day-to-day work.
That’s not a bad thing if it’s used the right way.

But without a few simple guardrails, it’s easy for things to slip:
🚩 Content going out without review
🚩 Sensitive information being shared
🚩 Tools being used without anyone really knowing

It doesn’t take much to avoid it:
✅ Decide which AI tools are approved in your company
✅ Make sure anything client-facing gets reviewed
✅ Be clear about what should never be entered

AI can save time...but it still needs structure.
𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿.

Ever notice you look at something once online and then it seems to follow you everywhere?

Same product. Same ad. Over and over.

That’s not random.
